So we’re gonna talk about how to make your first dollar as a blogger. So as bloggers, you know, we love to, of course, blog and put out content out there, but we really wanna figure out, you know, well how can I make that first dollar as a blogger?
There are some bloggers that haven’t made any money at all as a blogger. So we’re gonna go into how you can make an income or that first dollar as a blogger and finally make it so that you can make a profit with blogging.
First, the number one way that you can make your first dollar as a blogger is to start blogging. So I know that that sounds simple enough, but you know, you really need to have some consistency with your blogging.
So for instance, if you’re blogging maybe like once a month or maybe blogging once every few months, or maybe some people even blog only once, like six months. You really need to get your consistency up because that’s how people are gonna see more about what you do as a blogger and hear more about what you do as a blogger, which is eventually gonna lead them to buy something from you.
Blogging is a way to introduce yourself to the world, introduce yourself to people, and have people to figure out what it is that you blog about. So, for instance, for me, I blog about helping others to start a blog and helping moms, you know, figure out, you know, how they can blog and make money as a blogger and how they can even, you know, quit their nine to five so they want, or even stay at home with their kids, but still make some income.
So that’s what I blog about and I try to blog about it pretty consistently so people can see that I’m, you know, putting content out there and offering any help or any advice that I can offer. If you’re blogging, try to see if you can start blogging more consistently, because that’s gonna get people to see more about what you’re doing.
If you’re blogging about being a foodie, blogging about travel, blogging about finance, you know, people wanna see your content. And the more you put out there, the more they’re gonna be interested in investing in you. So, the number one way is to start blogging, and that’s gonna help you with starting to make an income.
The number two way to start making money as a blogger is to create a digital product. Even if you’ve been blogging like once a month or once every six months, you have content out there. You can turn that content into a digital product that you can sell to others.
And also this digital product will show people that you have something that you could offer them, something that will help them. So a digital product is so important because it automatically makes you a business person, automatically makes you an entrepreneur because you’re not just blogging, you’re not just putting content out there, but you also have something to offer and sale to people that they wanna buy.
And as bloggers, it’s okay to, of course, sell things. We want to sell things because we want people to, you know, actually get help from what we offer. So, for instance, if you’ve been holding off on creating that digital product, don’t. People want to see what you can offer and hear about how you can help them.
One great example is that I know people that blog about finance. They’re trying to figure out, well, what can I, you know, create that people will wanna buy? Well, I know. You may start off with like a checklist as a freebie, which is a checklist of like the top five ways that you can make a budget or the top five ways to put together a budget for your family.
That could be the checklist, could be the actual freebie, but then if you wanna go more in depth about it and have more information for people to learn about, then you can create an ebook. So then create an ebook, like for instance, on how people can make a budget because what may come simply to you or something that’s so easy to you, may not come so easy to everybody else.
If you put out content out there that people understand in a, in a simple and easy way, people are gonna want to consume that content and they’re gonna want to hear that from you. That’s the reason why I started talking about blogging and putting out digital products about bloggings, because I realized that when I first started, there was all this information out there, but it was so complicated and so hard to do, and I was like, well, blogging really isn’t that complicated, but some people make it complicated.
So I said, well, I’m gonna put my own spin on it, put my own voice on it, and especially as a mom. We don’t have time to take, you know, hours and hours and hours and days and days and weeks and weeks and weeks to start a blog. I said, lemme try to put this in a way that’s easier and where someone can get started right away.
That’s why I created the digital products about starting a blog. You know how you can start your blog and how you can make it easy for you. And the first thing I created was an ebook. I used my different blog posts and used the content that I had already been creating to create that ebook.
And that’s why I say, start blogging first. That will give you the content. Then you can create your digital product, and then of course, then you can sell that digital product. So that leads us to number three way that you can make your first dollar as a blogger.
Now that you’ve been blogging, now that you have created that digital product, now you wanna let people know about it. And I know for some of us, that can be the scariest thing or the hardest thing is to figure out like, oh, I have to tell people about my product. And it’s really to have faith in what you do.
And yes, you need to get out there. You need people to see what you do. Not everybody wants to be active on social media, but even by just, you know, sending out an email to people that are on your email list, is a step forward.
If you know anybody that needs your digital product, you can send them the link. Sharing your digital products and the content that you create can do so much for you and your brand. Because people are gonna find out that, hey, she creates products, she has things to sell, and I may be interested in it one day.
So they may not buy from you right then, but maybe they’ll buy from you down the line. They’ll see that you keep creating great content and you’re putting out great products, and then they’ll invest in you.
You want to let people know about the digital products that you are creating, what content you’re creating, and what you’re doing as a blogger. So if you are active on social media, you can put it out there on Instagram. You can make a TikTok video. You know, you can put it out there on Facebook. If you’re not comfortable with social media, you can just send an email out.
You know, this is how it will help you. And I love it if you would check it out. So you don’t have to, you know, make it like a huge, big deal, but you want people to know about what you’re doing so they can see that, oh, she’s putting out content, she’s putting out products, and she may have something that will help me.
You just wanna make sure you get the word out about what you’re doing. So again, the top three ways to really make your first dollar as a blogger course. First for the. You wanna start your blog, that’s gonna help you make your first dollar. ’cause people are gonna see that you are blogging and that you’re putting content out there.
Number two, you wanna create that digital product because that’s ultimately what’s gonna help you make that dollar. You’re gonna create that digital product from whatever you’re blogging about and the content you’re putting out. And then number three, number three way that you’re gonna make your first dollars a v blogger is you’re gonna get the word out there.
People are gonna be invested in you and they wanna know what you’re creating and what you’re doing. So by, you know, letting them know, Hey, this is what I do. They’re gonna wanna invest in you, and so then they will buy a digital product or something else from you. That’s another way that of course, that will help you to make your first dollar.
You know, as a blogger, it can definitely be done. Do not think that, you know, you’ll never make your first dollar as a blower. ’cause for some people it may take a longer time. It may take years, but, these are golden nuggets. They’re gonna help you to make your first dollar right away. I’m telling you, start your blog, start blogging consistently.
Create that digital product so you at least have something to sell, and then let people know about it. And trust me, people are going to want to invest in you and buy your digital product.
