Here’s a page from my ebook below to help motivate you that you can do it!

Creating and selling digital products can help you to not only make money, but to also grow your authority as a blogger. It also helps to show what you offer as a creator and that you’re more than just a blogger. You are a business!

Here are 3 tips to help you sell you first digital product. You got this and Moms Blog Too is here every step of the way.

#1 – Figure Out What Digital Product You Should Make

The first step that will help you figure out how to sell your first digital product is to first figure out what digital product you should make. This may sound like a no-brainer but if you’re an indecisive person like I tend to be sometimes, this can be the hardest first step.

What will help you is to make a list of ten ideas you have for digital products and then narrow it down to three. Those three options should be easy to make, easy for your audience to use, and something that will help somebody get a quick win.

Some ideas for digital products that might fall under these categories include checklists, regular lists, templates, planners, and ebooks. You can turn just about anything into a digital product, you just have to figure out what works best for you and your audience.

#2 – Create Your First Digital Product

For many of us mommy bloggers, this step causes the most anxiety. We start thinking, “What if no one will buy our digital product?” and “What if doesn’t turn out well?” To these questions, I would tell you that it’s important to give yourself some grace. It’s your first digital product! As long as you make one that you think will work well for you audience and that helps them solve a problem, or get a quick win, you’re good.

The best thing about digital products is that you can always improve them or update them if they don’t turn out the way your first wanted it too. I was so scared to put my first digital product out there. But you know what? People actually bought it! I was so excited. You can do this too. Just create it! One of the best tools to create a digital product is Canva. I used Canva to create my ebook and it was so fun and easy. You can even design your digital product using the free version of Canva. So amazing!

#3 – Sell Your First Digital Product!

Now, that you figured out what kind of digital product to make, and you have created your first digital product, now it’s time to sell it! Typically, your first digital product should sell for as low as $7 to around $27. This is what’s called a low-ticket offer. You could sell your first digital product for much higher, but it depends on what you think will work for your audience.

For my first digital product, “The Start a Profitable Blog in 30 Days Ebook,” I sold it at the launch price of $9! Yes, it normally sells for more, but I wanted to give people a chance to get in on an incredible price since it’s my first digital product. You can do the same.

To sell your first digital product, you can sell it on ConvertKit, on your website, or even on Etsy. Matter of fact, you can sell it on all three. You just pick a platform, list your product, and provide people with the link to where they can buy and support your business.

Conclusion

In conclusion, if you blog, you’re on social media, or even on Pinterest, you can turn that content and your ideas into a digital product. Make it something simple and something that can help your audience to do something better, get something done, or make something easier.

Don’t underestimate your abilities and think that people won’t want to buy what you have to offer. Your community will support your digital product because they want to support you. Creating your first digital product will help to monetize your blog and put you on the path to being a successful blogger.
