And the third reason is going to be to grow your brand. So, now I’m going to go into each one of these and explain to you why it’s so important to start a blog today.

The first one I mentioned is really to have content. If you’re starting out with a new business and you need to really get the word out there about what you do, a blog is the perfect way to do that. The great thing about a blog is that you’re putting out content consistently and people can see and hear your voice through your words.
You’re letting them know, hey, this is what I blog about. This is what I’m an expert about, or this is how I can help you. And people are really interested in what you have to say. Blogging really gives you that way of making and producing that content. And what’s wonderful is that once you start blogging. You can send that content out to everybody.
For instance, you can send that content via email. You can send out your blog post to people. You can repurpose it and put it on social media. A blog post is great because it lets people into your world and helps them to see what you’re doing. For example, if you’re a food blogger or you’re a travel blogger, by blogging you’re letting people know what you’re experiencing, what you’re learning, and what you’re doing.
People love to read about blogs and really get invested in what somebody is learning and what they’re doing. For me, it’s all about Moms Blog Too and about blogging. Also, you can make affiliate income with your blog. You can develop courses and create everything from PDFs to eBooks that you can all sell. So your blog kind of gives you that content base. And as you start blogging, you can repurpose that content. You can take that content from your blog and really use it to monetize. So number three, the number three reason why you should start a blog today is because it helps you to grow. It’s all about growing your brand. So when you have something as far as a blog, where you’re putting out consistent content, people can see who you are.
They can see what your brand is. They can see what your business is, what you like to blog about. People get a window into your world. They can see what you’re all about. And there’s something about writing that let’s people into what you’re doing.
I love to put a lot of real world situations in there and talk about what’s going on in my life. Also, I talk about what’s going on with my kids etc. I love blogging because it really gives me the freedom to be able to write when I want to and to post when I want to.
And then I can also monetize that and, you know, sell digital products with that. There are not that many careers where you can really control your time. That’s the great thing about blogging. If I want to blog at two o’clock in the morning, I can. If I want to blog at one o’clock in the afternoon when the kids are napping, that works as well.
Or if I want to blog, you know, at eight o’clock in the morning, I can. Because all you have to do is write it and then post it to your blog. So that’s what’s really cool about blogging is being able to have some type of control over your time and what you do and when you do it.
The other thing about growing your blog is that you can collaborate with others. As you start posting more blog posts, you can participate in everything from online bundles to online summits. People will see that you are an authority in your niche. They will look to you to help them solve their problem.

But like I said, that’s another revenue stream that you can look into. Number three, the number three reason why you should start a blog today is because you can grow. It helps to grow your brand, helps people to see who you are, helps people to understand your business. So it’s really just a great way to allow you to collaborate with others.
Blogging is all about helping people and in turn, you’re also able to make a profit. You can quit your 9 to 5, make money at home if you’re a stay at home mom or supplement your income.
